dhṛtyā yayā dhārayate manaḥ-prāṇendriya-kriyāḥ
yogenāvyabhicāriṇyā dhṛtiḥ sā pārtha sāttvikī

syntax


he pārtha (O son of Pṛthā!),
yogena (by yoga) avyabhicāriṇyā (by undeviating) yayā dhṛtyā (by which firmness) [puruṣaḥ] (a person) manaḥ-prāṇendriyā-kriyāḥ (activities of mind, breaths and of the senses) dhārayate (he causes to hold),
sā dhṛtiḥ (that firmness) sāttvikī [asti] (is sattvic).
